Semiconductor package development concluded
In July of 2000, our company entered into a general agreement of technical cooperation with the Korean company SIMM TECH CO., LTD., and since then has been investigating specific research and development themes, but on this occasion we have signed a joint development contract for an 8-layer build up (module board) used in advanced semiconductor packages, such as next generation microprocessors.

“Dongguan Tang Xia Xin Sheng Dianzichang” completed
“Dongguan Tang Xia Xin Sheng Dianzichang” (Dongguan, Guangdong Province), our company's production consignee for printed wiring boards in China, will start full-scale operation this month, and held an on-site inaugural ceremony on March 16. A total of 160 people attended on the day, including Chinese dignitaries such as Mr. Lijn Wei, mayor of Dongguan City, and Ren Huan Ling, mayor of Tang Xia Zhen.
Based on the business agreement between CMKS Hong Kong (outlay of 51% from our company and 49% from Sumitomo Bakelite Co., Ltd.) and Tang Xia Zhen, “Dongguan Tang Xia Xin Sheng Dianzichang” has leased production equipment and materials from CMKS Hong Kong, to be entrusted with the processing of printed wiring boards.
In addition, this company has a factory with 30,000m2 of land and 16,000m2 of buildings, has enough capacity that a first term plan of producing 90,000m2 single-sided wiring boards and 25,000m2 of silver pasted-through hole wiring boards every month is viable, and there were approximately 200 employees at the end of February.
